020117-Rest Day

Today was a rest day.  The only exercise I did was running beside my daughter while she did sprints.

Rest days are generally awesome.  But it’s possible for them to become boring.  Every summer my kids complain that they’re bored.  This is because they have too many rest days in a row.  Work makes the rest days sweet.

Anyway, here’s a question for you.  Can you do something for your fitness on rest days?  Answer: of course you can.  You can keep up with your diet.  You can also plan what you’ll do during your next workout.

Today, I just kept my calories down.  Tomorrow will be cardio and weights again.
