Keeping Up with Daily Calories

September 17, 2009

If you figure out approximately how many calories you need on a daily basis (to do this, see Estimating Daily Caloric Needs), then the next step is keeping track of your calories on a daily basis so that you know whether or not you are above or below your daily target.  A cool site that can help you do that is this: http://www.fitday.com/.  Check it out.  It’s good.

  8. I understand the idea of calories, but are all calories equal? By that I don’t mean calorie by definition, but by the way are body converts calories. Is the calories in bread converted differently than calories in meat?
