April, see what lack of sleep can do to my finger & brain in my last short post?

As soon as I take a shower, I am going to go walk around the countryside of Munster Germany. I have been up now for 31 hours and I have 6 more before I can go to bed. I hate having an all-day meeting after a trans-Atlantic flight…

I’ve upgraded “The Circuit” – my almost daily routine for over 2 years. Run in the deep sand on the beach in Hermosa from 10th St. to 22nd St. Do pull-ups (10 hands out, 10 hands in, then hang and hold the legs straight out for 30 sec.) Then jog back home along the water. Recently I’ve added carrying 3 lb. dumbbells for the duration.

Hey wait a minute- I could have sold my secret workout!

I do pilates. Woooo. I like the focus on individual muscle groups. Lately I’ve been walking less than usual because of time constraints.

  16. Kate McKeon says:

Pilates and SPin seem like opposites, but I used to teach a class where we’d spin for 45 minutes then do 20 minutes of Pilates. If you know what you are doing (and that was a prerequisite for the class), then you can get through the entire mat series in 22 minutes, 17 if you’re pro….

    Efficient, effective, fluid and energized!
